Used Skills: Microsoft Package, Analytical & Critical Thinking, Research
Over these five months, I had the opportunity to work with a project group on a research study focused on the packaging quality and the surrounding processes at Trip & Co. Our goal was to identify the root causes of packaging tears and develop an effective solution to improve durability and reliability.
Through extensive analysis, we examined various factors contributing to the issue, including material properties, handling procedures, and supplier consistency. After carefully evaluating different potential improvements, we arrived at a practical and effective solution. By optimizing the dimensions of the packaging and establishing a partnership with a fixed supplier, we were able to enhance packaging strength and reduce the occurrence of tears.
This project not only provided valuable insights into quality control and process optimization but also reinforced the importance of collaboration in problem-solving. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to a tangible improvement in packaging efficiency while gaining hands-on experience in real-world process refinement.
